Born in the city and raised in the outskirts, Nico embarked on a circular journey back to the urban realm, where he developed an authorial research at the boundary between urban landscapes, metropolises, and megacities. After studying architecture at Politecnico di Milano, he immersed himself in the world of photography: first through studies at the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia and collaboration with authors like Ramak Fazel, then with prestigious design and architecture magazines such as Domus and Living Corriere. Author of poetic photobooks like Festungen - Fortresses (Hohensalzburg) and LX5 Memo-ries (Athens Photo Festival), he lives between Bangkok, Ostuni, and Milan. In his adolescence, he discovered he carries a rebellious brain, guiding his oneiric vision of spaces.
